Digital Distribution and Data Caps

This is a nice, concise explanation of how the move towards data caps in US internet service plans makes digital distribution (for instance, games) much more difficult than it should be. Steam a few HD movies and download a few games, and you could hit the "large" 300 GB cap Comcast has pretty fast.

My local power company sent me some helpful tips on lowering my power bill:

Yeah, let me replace the bulbs I can see by with useless CFL's that don't last any longer, and provide crappy light. Meanwhile, that last suggestion looks like a real winner right about now:
