Keeping in mind that there's still ice on the roads (4 days after the ice storm, mind you), this is what I woke up to today:

Looks like another day of working from the hotel - driving in to the office yesterday had some white knuckle moments, and getting to the airport later today will be enough excitement for me...

The weather right now back home:

Meanwhile, here in Dallas:

The tv news tells me that many of the highways are parking lots filled with ice patches, and that rolling blackouts are hitting various areas. Joy :)

This is what I woke up to this morning here in Dallas:

Meanwhile back home, I have a phone message telling me that my wife's grocery delivery order will be delayed... due to winter weather. It's everywhere I want to be :)

When I left Dallas on Friday, it was almost 70 degrees. This is what I came home to:

At least I didn't have to shovel it - it looks like it was a lot of work :)

As I write this in my hotel in Dallas, there's no power back at home:

Well, the storm missed us by that much (imagine two fingers really close to each other :) )

Looks like we could get a serious snowfall the day after Christmas:

The storm track is still unclear - it could sail out to sea. But if it does hit here, boy, will post Christmas travel be screwy around here :)

My parents live not far from the space coast region of Florida - here's what's headed their way:

Fortunately, it looks like it'll be fairly tame when it gets there.

Well, this could be exciting:

The surf was pretty heavy in Melbourne Beach Saturday around noon, from the other storm that's heading out to sea. If this one holds the track closest to land, then Maryland will have some big winds and rain on Friday.
