Very Enterprisey

Maybe Oracle needs to get fewer experts building out their website. I've tried to download their database (I've got valid OTN credentials) with the following results:

  • Chrome (Mac) - general failure to progress past login
  • Firefox (Mac) - initiated a download, saved 0 bytes
  • IE (Windows) - failed to login
  • Safari (Mac) failed to login

And people wonder why alternatives are so popular - at least you can try them out without first sacrificing a few goats...

My Oracle DB install files are properly backed up and will NEVER get deleted, considering how much effort it was to get them in the first place. (Including getting OTN credentials I've since forgotten)

aybe it's part of a plan to reduce bandwidth costs! :D

Can't remember what browser I used though, considering your results it would probably be Opera.

n which case, maybe Oracle is standards-compliant, and it's just all the other browsers which needs updates :)
