Adobe Finds a Friend

March 31, 2010 21:29:58.714

Interesting - Google is baking Flash into Chrome:

The search-and-advertising giant announced Tuesday that it will bundle Adobe’s Flash player with downloads of the Chrome browser, putting Google in sharper opposition to Apple

Of course, with the popularity of the iPhone (and the seeming popularity of the new iPad), site developers are going to have to deal with the "no flash" problem anyway...

Flock used to do this. It ensures that untrained users don't blame your browser when they can't view YouTube or Hulu. And there is no worry about whether Flash works with your 32/64 bit browser. However, it means that there are now two installations of Flash on the computer, which may or may not both be up to date.
