Pier, Podcasting, and Tools
I found this interesting, because it's ground I've mostly covered with my Silt server - things like iTunes enabled feeds, XML-RPC interfaces for posting tools, and so on:

Sergio advocates using Feedburner, which does most of the work for you. Probably a decent idea now, but I like the fact that all generation is under my control :)

just wanted to check in to see what the scoop was so far on xml-rpc for pier.
has anything been done?
one thing i would love to see is textile support so you can use marsedit..

I have no idea, but there's XML-RPC code out there for Smalltalk - I can't imagine it would be that difficult to use - especially since it'll be pretty independent of Pier itself.
When I did XML-RPC interfaces for my server, I had to use trial and error (lots of people helped me debug by testing with various clients).
